Landscape Email Notice Sent to Membership
Hello Everyone! I hope this message finds everyone safe during these crazy COVID times. As you know, the Board is making efforts to provide open feedback to the membership on various issues and I wanted to take a minute to talk a bit about landscape maintenance. Rather than hand out notices to individual members at this time, we wanted to first send out a ‘blanket plea’ for all homeowners to please review their own landscapes for excessive weeds and/or maintenance issues.
Green Ridge homes have three types of landscape – the ‘natural desert’ type, the ‘professionally installed’ type, and a combination of the two. Although the professionally installed landscape areas are much easier to review and recommend for ‘clean up’, the natural desert landscape areas are a bit more difficult to assess. This type of landscape area still needs to be kept clean, tidy and generally attractive (see Article VI – Maintenance in CCRs) and cannot be left to \’grow by itself\’. Believe us, we know this is incredibly ‘personal taste’ oriented, but we all need to do our best to keep our community as beautiful as it has always been, so that it reflects our “high pride of ownership” standards. In general, all landscape types need to be free of weeds, downed plants/trees, excessive over-growth of bushes, etc.
At this time, we’d like to ask all members to take a few minutes over the next couple of weeks to please self-assess their landscapes to make sure they are following our communities desired landscape practices and make any necessary changes to bring it up to par. Our landscape committee will do a walk through on June 13th to review the landscapes. If we feel any home is still not up to our communities standards, we’ll be sure to reach out personally to see if any help can be provided.
Thanks so much for everyone’s help in this matter. It’s greatly appreciated!
Sincerely,
Brent LaFoley
Green Ridge HOA President
